Hollywood’s resident experience runs through Hollywood Connect, its water utility and sanitation teams, and the City’s permit portal. This guide helps you choose the right path—and explains when an address check or a different department matters.
For non-emergency city concerns, Connect is the central report-and-follow-up path. For billing, waste pickup, active hazards or permits, go straight to the responsible department.

Use Connect for general non-emergency concerns. Utility bills and service start/stop go to Utility Billing; missed garbage or recycling goes to Environmental Services/Waste Pro; construction goes through Building Permits.
The City’s departments handle different steps. Here’s where to begin and what to confirm.
Hollywood asks customers to confirm the property is served by its Department of Public Utilities before applying. Utility Billing is at 2600 Hollywood Boulevard, Room 103. The City lists a deposit for new accounts; call 954-921-3938 for application requirements, account changes, bills or reconnection help.
