Life on the island
has its own map.
Village services meet county services at the water’s edge. The Village runs solid-waste pickup for single-family homes and duplexes; Miami-Dade provides water and sewer, and FPL handles electricity. Permits, flood questions, stormwater and public records each have a direct route below.

One island, three collection rhythms.
Great Waste handles residential service for the Village. Condominiums and commercial properties arrange separate contracts through their property manager.
Side-yard pickup is available when the cart and bags are accessible beside the home. Weekly yard debris has size, weight and bundle limits. Hazardous materials, construction debris and many appliance items need different arrangements.
